Be Welcome.

Here it is all about dance - contemplated from many different angles - and about looking at things differently.

A letter from Patricia McBride...

A letter from Patricia McBride...

Some years ago I sort of "saved" an old VHS tape from disappearing forever and had it transferred into a DVD that I included on my youtube-channel. It was Mr. B's "Tarantella" danced by lovely Patricia McBride and virile Edward Vilella.

Some coincidences (do coincidences really exist?) brought me into contact with Mr. Vilella and - to make a long story short - I have sent him the DVDs. Yes, I use the plural form because I have sent one for him and another to Miss McBride, which he would forward for me...

Some months later I received this letter, more of a Thank you note, from her. What can you say when you open your Mail box and there it is... a letter from a great idol of yours? Thank you, enchanting, Miss McBride, the real ruby of the New York City Ballet’s crown ! (or as someone once said "the heart" of the New York City Ballet)

With great admiration and in gratitude
