Be Welcome.

Here it is all about dance - contemplated from many different angles - and about looking at things differently.

Injuries...

Injuries...

Injuries can happen but why so many injuries in a Ballet company during a Season? And this continuously after four years?

That is strongly related to the QUALITY of the classes... and Ballet masters: Anatomy knowledge, proper training, emotional intelligence guidance, and no ego trips to “show off” great variations but giving the right classes at the right time (like, to put it simply, a “soft” one after a “Swan Lake” performance, for example).

The Vienna State Ballet is a victim of this sort of misguidance and failure right now! So many injuries…

I wonder what the Ballet Master’s team will look like in the future! There is, obviously, an urgent need for change and a new dynamic!

Looking so much forward with lots of excitement to Alessandra Ferris’ direction period and I am sure that she will bring the necessary knowledge, savoir-faire, and energy to run a company like that… but, the thing is, that we still will have to wait for a whole year until she can begin to make changes!
